Health Profilers.

Improving engagement for health and wellness software applications that identify at-risk populations.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Objective

Medicom Health's Health Profilers are health and wellness software applications that identify at-risk populations through a series of evidence-based questions. Users receive a detailed report with a breakdown of their risk results, which they can share with health care providers.

Challenge

It is no secret that web users have chosen mobile as their primary screen in the last several years. Medicom Health was no exception, and rapid changes in user behavior had our users seeking small-screen Profilers in an increasingly mobile-friendly world.

My Role

As the UX/UI intern, I was involved in all phases of the project, from mapping out the problem to delivering final designs. I worked with the product architect/ UX + UI designer, information architect, copywriter, product manager/CTO, and engineering partners.

SOLUTIONING

It was time to create V3 Health Profilers. The progress on V3 of the Health Profilers began in November 2016 and continues today. Clients and users were in need of a mobile design, clear understandable copy that was less clinical, ADA compliant view, more customization on the client-side, instant personalized advice about current health concerns, and an application that was more fun to use.
